President Donald Trump has had several notable associates over the years, some of whom have been characterized as "creepy" or dangerous figures. The 2024 biographical film The Apprentice reintroduced us to Roy Cohn, Trump's ruthless mentor and lawyer, who helped mold the future president's public persona.
Furthermore, the film offers insight into Trump's early ideologies; Cohn, a veteran of McCarthy-era "witch hunts," operated with a blatant disregard for traditional morality.
By the late 1980s, Trump had befriended Jeffrey Epstein, a financier later exposed as a prolific sex offender. Like Cohn, Epstein reportedly used social connections and potential blackmail as leverage in his schemes.
In 2025, Trump clarified that he had declared Epstein persona non grata at Mar-a-Lago for recruiting employees from the club’s spa, marking a definitive end to their association long before Epstein’s final legal downfall. This could have been a preemptive strike to end their relationship before becoming heavily involved in politics. Trump is the guy that said, "grab 'em by the pussy," when referring to women.
It is very curious why all of the Epstein files haven't been released. We could speculate that people even more powerful than the President of the United States could be implicated in criminal activity. Without hypothesizing, it's more likely that someone is trying to hide something. The Epstein files were supposed to be released by December 19, 2025. The information that was partially released was heavily redacted.
