Graphic details surfaced in the federal trial against Sean "Diddy" Combs. Cassie Ventura alleged that she was a victim during her 11-year relationship with the music mogul. Following an FBI interview with Cassie Ventura, Sean 'Diddy' Combs later turned himself in and was charged with crimes that could possibly result in a life sentence. She had never reported any of the abuse that she alleged to the authorities. She attested, under oath during the course of the trial, that she was forced into activities that infamously became known as "freak offs," her testimony aiming to strengthen the prosecution's coercion theory. However, upon cross-examination by the defense, text messages emerged that seemed to prove she was a willing participant, as she read one of the messages aloud in court. The message said that she was "always ready to freak off." Other messages contained expletives that demonstrated an eagerness to partake in these sex marathons. Critics have noted that if she was empowered to cut the relationship off, it raises questions why she would cut the relationship back on. By her own admission, she dated several other people. Popular comedian and television show host Bill Maher made comments about the situation that were shocking to some, but he stood by his remarks.
