The Atlanta Dream teamed up with Cash App in an effort to get people to "pay some respect to women's sports." This slogan was visible on the court at Philips Arena during the matchup between Indiana and Atlanta. The WNBA has gained traction with fans over the years, but more so now than ever with the arrival of Caitlin Clark to the league. If you haven't heard of Caitlin Clark, she is number 22 of the Indiana Fever. She was drafted number one in 2024 and became the 2024 Rookie of the Year. She is an extremely gifted shooter, proficient passer, and former Iowa Hawkeye. Clark led Iowa to the NCAA Women's Division I National Championship games in 2023 and 2024 but came away without a victory. Iowa was defeated by the LSU Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks, respectively. Fellow draft class member Angel Reese was a member of the 2023 LSU Tiger championship team, and her name and Clark's have become almost synonymous due to their college rivalry. Everyone is looking forward to Cameron Brink, member of the Los Angeles Sparks who was also drafted in 2024, to return to the court after suffering a knee injury in her rookie season. Stepping away from basketball, the 2025 NCAA Women's Softball Tournament is underway. The Oklahoma Sooners, ranked number 2, have had success in years past with long-tenured head coach Patty Gasso, who has been there since '95. In case you were wondering, Texas A&M is ranked number one. Bri Ellis is a member of the Arkansas Razorbacks, and she is considered the best player in college softball for her hitting ability. The Women's College World Series is set to take place at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. For more information... Click Here.
