The NBA recently announced that they are returning games to NBC, well, some of them. NBC broadcast NBA games from 1990 through 2002. Albeit there was a different atmosphere in that day and age. All a viewer was required to do was turn their television set to whatever channel NBC was on, and they could see the game. When NBA games return to NBC this year, they are set to air on Sundays once the NFL season has concluded and on Tuesdays throughout the regular season. However, Monday night games will be broadcast on Peacock, NBC's app. For the 2024-2025 NFL season, fans had games scattered all over the place. Amazon Prime took over Thursday Night Football, while Netflix was home to games on Christmas Day. Some games could be found on the traditional networks: ESPN for Monday Night Football, CBS and Fox for Sunday games, and NBC remained the host of Sunday Night Football. It may prove a bit annoying when and if you'd like to see a game, and you discover that you must purchase a subscription. With 162 games in baseball and the growing number of "behind the scenes" deals, it may prove challenging to know where to see your team in action.
