Tua Tagovailoa is the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. If you haven't heard, he suffered another concussion, his third in the NFL and his fourth overall if you count his time as a college player at Alabama. Also, this is the fourth concussion in a span of only five years. There has been an outcry for him to consider his health, with the likes of former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce and NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe chiming in. Maybe the NFL will consider retiring players that have had a certain number of concussions, but no one knows what that number may be. Such a move could set a precedent for how and when the NFL could get involved. Watching what transpired with Damar Hamlin when his heart stopped was frightening enough and a lot of the spectators at home and in the audience are kids. Tagovailoa recently signed a contract worth $212.4 million over a period of four years. Chad "OchoCinco" Johnson, famed former NFL wide receiver,  feels like the contract is an incentive to keep playing despite the risks involved, with CTE being a major one. CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) is a degenerative disease that affects people who have suffered repeated concussions.
